Award-Winning Filmmaker & On-Camera Storyteller
I'm an award-winning documentary filmmaker and on-camera storyteller passionate about authentic human stories. Whether I'm directing behind the camera or interviewing someone in front of it, I'm drawn to stories and conversations that shine a light on topics that deserve attention.
After earning my B.A. in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago, I built my career across broadcast television, digital media, and documentary filmmaking. My work includes projects for the Chicago Tribune, WGN America, Newsy, Antenna TV, and Informa Engage, producing content for broadcast, streaming, and digital audiences.
Documentary Work
My debut feature documentary, The Call, explores the mental health crisis among firefighters and first responders. The film has received multiple international awards and festival recognition, including honors from the World Film Festival in Cannes, Toronto International Film Festival of CIFT, and Paris Women CineFest.
More importantly, it reflects my belief that storytelling can create empathy, spark difficult conversations, and bring overlooked issues into the public eye.
On-Camera Work
Alongside directing, I work as an interviewer and on-camera host, bringing curiosity, preparation, and genuine conversation to every interview. My experience ranges from celebrity interviews and live events to documentary conversations centered on real people and meaningful stories.
Current Work
I currently serve as Creative Operations Manager at Informa Engage, where I lead multidisciplinary creative teams while continuing hands-on work in storytelling, production, and post-production. Alongside my corporate work, I continue developing independent documentary and narrative projects and am actively seeking my next documentary or on-camera opportunity.
Outside of filmmaking, I'm an Ironman triathlete, beach volleyball player, avid traveler, and lifelong believer that curiosity leads to the best stories.
Whether behind the camera or in front of it, my goal is always to create work that helps people feel understood.
